Uh oh. My squat is starting to return. It felt great today. I didn't have anybody watching depth but I'm sure it was close if nothing else. I knew I was going to have a good day. My back felt awesome awhile warming up and afterwards. I can tell the added weight is really paying off. When I take a heavy single in 2 weeks, I should easily hit 375-385. Things are looking up.

375-385? After 355x5 you should hit 405 no probs! Make sure you take another attempt after you crush 375-385.

It was cold today. Never felt like I really got warmed up. I hit the numbers I was supposed to, and then some. I'll be glad when I can actually strict press something decent. Wasn't bad but not on par with my last two sessions.

    Comments:

I'm not hitting anything spectacular, but everything is moving up and I've got to say it feels good. It's nice to see my weights moving in the right direction for a change. The biggest thing I've seen with my bench is that it's moving up even though my tricep strength is down as is my rowing. When my rowing and tricep get back to where they used to be, I think I'll be able to hit close to a 315 bench in the shirt. I'm not sure what my exact weight is, but I weighed in at 184.4 with my jeans on the other day. I'm somewhere around 180lbs. Overall things are looking up.

Good to see the weights are moving in the right direction.

You'll kill that 405 squat and then onwards to 450.

    Cp- Haha yea you know.

Guido- Shoot bro, once I get 405 back easily, I'm looking for 500.

I've been on a boat all day fishing with my father, uncle, and granddad. We try to get together once a year to spend a couple of days together. It's been COLD and my lowerback was tight but we cost some good Spot and had a great dinner. While they were cleaning them I rushed back home an hour away to get my squat session in. Rushed the workout as fast as possible and turned back around to go eat. I literally came off the boat, and drove to squat.

    205lbs x 5

    Comments:

Didn't feel all that great. Popped a No Doz on the way over. It's been cold all day and standing in a john boat fishing for 5hrs didn't help my back out. I didn't really give it time to warm up. I ran through all my sets pretty damn quick. Even still I hit some new PRs. I think if I had been fresh and taken my time, I could've hit a couple of more. I got in the briefs early and kept them on because I didn't want to waste time trying to get them off. I'm sure some of the squatting was high because my briefs are cinching up tighter and tighter. Not bad even though conditions were poor.

    Comments:

Hit another PR today on the shoulder press. I'd really like to have around a 185lbs strict press in the next 3-4 months or so. We'll have to see how it goes. This workout is always an odd one, so I hit a bunch of different stuff. Couldn't really decide what all I wanted to do, so I just hit everything. Really need to get my rows up.

You're a strong 180. I like that your weight keeps going up, what you want to get to?

Haha I appreciate it Crazy, but I'm far from strong at this point. I'd like to get up to around 190-200 and then maybe cut back slightly so I sit around 185-190.

Another PR. Hell yea I'll take it. During my first attempt at 230, the spotter latched onto it as soon as it came off my chest. I damn near punched him in the teeth. What a dumbass. I hit it pretty easily the next time. Wanted to start working up in my shirt before my deload next week. There wasn't any pause on the chest, but I hit it. The lockout was slow but I was able to flatten out and lock it out at the end. Gotta keep the heavy tricep work up so I can get the most out of it.

I'm using the single ply Metal Viking Bencher Presser. It's the middle of the road as far as the X-type and the other shirt. It allows me to tuck pretty well but I don't have to use a severe arm angle.
