    Ab Work

    Comments:

Had a fairly good session today. Hit what I was supposed to and then upped it 10lbs. My squatting was a bit off. I was sitting back decently but then halfway up I was shifting forward and using way too much quads. The last set was deep enough, but pretty ugly. Much better than last time though. Just wanted to do a bit of pulling at the end. Worked up to 315 and shut it down. I'm kinda looking forward to the deload next week.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

    20s x 10
    20s x 10
    20s x 10

    Curlz

    Comments:

Not a bad workout today. I hit my last set plus an extra 3 reps. I really wanted 5 but it didn't happen, so I'm a bit disappointed about that. Threw in some rack pulls. That damn hook grip sucked. Left around 50lbs in the tank. Didn't want to work up too heavy since I did a bit of pulling on Wed. The "J" lateral raises are something I fooled around with. They really hit my rear delts pretty hard so I'll probably throw in a few sets every couple of sessions. Overall decent work but nothing all that great.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

The conv stance puts a lot of strain on my lowerback so as the weight gets heavier I switch over to the sumo.

I haven't done a CF workout in the last two months. I figured I'd do the one on the USMC Birthday.

    In Honor of the USMC:

    50 Burpees
    50 Pullups
    50 Wall Ball (20lbs Ball, 12ft Target)
    50 Push Press (95lbs)
    33 DLs (185lbs)

    Time- 24:14 (half-ass)

This is supposed to be my deload week so I didn't push it all out. Probably could've finished around a sub 20min. That half a pizza I ate earlier didn't sit well with me.

Haha I don't need to be doing any of the CF work. This is the first time in 2 months I've done any. Peer pressure is a bitch.

****ed my wrist up doing an inverted chinup. Fell from about 8ft. We'll see how bad it is in the morning.

Everybody thought I had killed myself. It was on the rings. Right after I did the first one, my legs shot between the rings and caused me to do a backflip. I'm obviously not into all that but managed to blow my air out and keep my head from smacking the ground.

Glad you're alright, man. I've tried some inverted pull-ups on a bar and all I can think about is "grip don't fail me now"... That's nothing when you add in rings.

http://www.worldofstock.com/slides/PCH6353.jpg - That is exactly how I was but about 8ft off the deck. I didn't have my feet hooked like that and the shot through the gap on me. I'll be alright. It's not so much my wrist as the base of my thumb. It feels pretty ****ed up, but we'll see.

    Tempered- Thanks man.

Bor- Haha for real man. The wrist is alright. The base of my thumb and the meaty part of my hand...not so much. I've probably got a slight fracture or nasty sprain. It'll be fine. I don't plan on resting for more than a week haha.

Y'all ****ers let this float to the 4th page.

Last week was a deload and I took yesterday off as well. I went in today to see how much my wrist could handle. It felt decent enough to attempt my workout.

    Comments:

My hand held up well enough to get through the workout. Ended up hitting a rep PR. I had a bit of pain but not all that much. My shoulder was giving me issues so I stopped short. I'm going to keep resting until Friday. HomeYield is coming in and we'll bench and squat heavy Friday and Saturday. I want to make sure I'm in good shape for that.

Good luck with the hand, injuries have been a common part of my past and its imperative to just keep coming back. As we say in my part of the country, "Just keep choppin' wood".

    Comments:

First heavy session in roughly 2 weeks. Took almost all of last week off. My lower back was locking up a bit while I benched so I didn't set nearly as big an arch as I typically do. Felt fairly decent. Better than I thought it would be. I've started BLET for the next 19 weeks so I'll be in class or on the range until 5 everyday. We'll see how I handle sitting in a chair all day and then trying to lift.
