    Been awhile since I updated this.

    I'm down to 7 weeks left. Getting close to the end. Ready to be done with this thing.

    Finally getting my weight back up. I'm back up to 176lbs, but still can't really get in the gym. I think I've lifted something over 100lbs maybe twice in the last 5 months. I'm eating whatever I can get my hands on so I'm holding on to a bit more bodyfat than I'd like. With that said, I don't care as I'm just trying to hold onto as much muscle as I can. Still haven't been able to break a 10min mile and a half. Was on pace to run around a 9:45 but ended up having some projectile vomiting.

    My separated shoulder is probably about as healthy as it's going to get given the circumstances. I can finally do some chinups again, though I can't really hang from the bar very well. I went and worked out today for the first time in awhile. I've lost some strength but have held onto a bit more than I thought I would.

    Comments-

    We've been doing a lot of circuit training this past week in Patrol School so we haven't been for a run. I decided to run my old course and see how I did. Ended up with a very nice PR and a pretty decent time. I actually paced it very mildly, even to the point where I thought I was running pretty slowly. Not once did I start to feel nauseous or to the point where I couldn't suck in a deep breath. The cold was making my shin and right hamstring tight, but overall my pacing was pretty even. Didn't really crank it up until the last .10 mile. In hindsight, I should have pushed the pace harder as I was obviously able to keep the one I set pretty easily. Should have been able to shave off another minute or so without much problem.

    Been almost a month since my last update. I'm down to 13 days left of training. I'm ready to be done. Had some awesome stuff in the past month. Great training.


    Finally got a chance to workout. This is my second real workout since starting patrol school. Did some strict OH pressing. My shoulder held up pretty decently but I've lost some strength. Hopefully it won't take too long to get back.

    I'll see if I can't start keeping this thing somewhat updated.

    I graduated from the 126th Basic School last week. Was a very long 7 months. Had a few injuries that have caused me some problems, but only one that continues to do so. My shoulder is still to a point where it aches and I can't flat bench on it. Going to work hard OH Pressing for awhile and see if I can't build up some size and strength to help out that AC Joint.

    My weight coming out of school was right at 181lbs. A lot of it was water weight and some fat that I put on trying my best to keep my muscle from starving completely away. Over the 7 month period I may have lifted something over 100lbs 4-5 times total. I'm weak. Current weight is sitting around 173-174 after only a week of dieting. It'll take me awhile to get back to where I want to be, but each journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

    i'm guessing you are using a different measure of PRs bc i know you use to smash those on chins. also, i use to have stronger strict presses than you.. now..i don't. also, these workouts look eerily similar. also...schfifty five
