BIG C- Thanks buddy. I think I have a good bit more in me on my squats, but I really want to use the best form that I possibly can, so I don't try and move up too fast.

    CoCoa- Thanks buddy.

Run down from yesterday- Ate pretty good, did some interval running. My computer is garbage so I have to come to the lab to use a computer. Hopefully I can get everything written down and typed up tonight on somebody's computer.

Dragons- Thanks buddy. Yea I'm dissappointed that my bench is still on the decline, but at least its not dropping super quick.

Weekly Weigh In-- 162.5lbs. Down 1lb from last week, and 2.5lbs overall.

    Food:

Meal 1- BBQ Chicken (Most Skin Removed), Rice, Mushroom Sandwich

Meal 2- Pork Loin, Rice, Chicken (Some Skin Removed), Corn Nuggets, Salad

    Odds and Ends:
    Nutri Grain Bar
    2 Bananas

    Workout:

    Benchpress-

    95lbs x 10
    135lbs x 10
    150lbs x 5
    155lbs x 5
    170lbs x at least 2

I put at least 2, because while I was benching, the numb nuts decides to continuously touch the damn bar. I know I had at least 2 in me though, and probably 3-3.5. Still a slight decrease from last time.

    Pullups (Palms In)-

    BW x 10 (+1 rep)
    BW + 10lbs x 5
    BW + 10lbs x 5

    Dips-

    BW x 10
    BW + 25lbs x 5
    BW + 35lbs x 5
    BW + 50lbs x 5

HS Iso Low Row (Combined Weight)-

    90lbs x 10
    140lbs x 10
    160lbs x 5
    180lbs x 5
    200lbs x 5 (+10lbs)

Overall a pretty good workout. Strength felt good on some things, and not there on some other lifts. My bench still is on the major suck. I may do like JustinF suggested and go to DBs for awhile. One thing that continues to amaze me is how much stronger my pull lifts are than my push. Also, it's so hard for me to believe that at the beginning of the year, I couldn't even do 1 pullup, and now I can do 10 pretty strict pullups (no kipping).

Haven't commented on the diet lately, but overall I think it's going pretty good. I try to keep my sugar, salt, and fat to a minimum, but because of how active I am, I don't worry too much about my carb levels. Protein levels overall are pretty good.

If I'm pretty satisified by how I look come 160lbs, I'll probably stop the cut there, and start on a slow bulk. If not, I'll continue cutting until I'm satisified.

On another note, a guy that lives on my floor in our dorm, killed himself last night. I just don't understand how something could drive somebody to take their own life. Oh well, I didn't know the guy, but just thought I'd note this in my journal anyway.

Woah. Was it a drunken accident or a straight up suicide?

    Nice session, btw.

Hope you experience a reversal in your benching soon, I've experienced much the same thing with other lifts.

A guy at my friend's dorms killed himself by jumping off the building (it was a tall tower block). He had failed something like 4 years of uni and kept changing to different courses and failing. Even so like you say I can't imagine things being so awful that I'd take such a step.

JustinF- It was a straight up suicide. He put a bag over his head and sealed it off with a rubber band. Thanks for the words buddy.

TheGimp- Thanks buddy. My bench strength is about the only thing that I've seen take a decline since I started this cut. Hopefully things will stay that way.

    Food:

Meal 1- Veggie Tortilla, Chicken Drumsticks (Some Skin Removed), Rice, Beans

Meal 2- Baked Chicken (Skin Removed), Ham, Corn, Potatos, Salad

    Odds and Ends:
    2 Bananas
    Balance Bar

    Workout: Random Shoulder/Legs

I didn't use the same gym I usually do, because I plan on going to play basketball here in awhile, and I would be in a big rush trying to get back and forth.

    Cable Front Raises-
    30lbs x 10
    40lbs x 5
    40lbs x 5
    40lbs x 5

    Lateral Raises-

    15lbs x 10
    25lbs x 5 (+5lbs)
    25lbs x 5
    25lbs x 5

    DB Shrugs-

    80s x 10 (+5lbs)
    80s x 10 (+5lbs)
    80s x 10 (+5lbs)

    Nautilus Leg Curls-

    95lbs x 10
    145lbs x 5
    145lbs x 5
    145lbs x 5

    Nautilus Leg Extensions-

    95lbs x 10
    140lbs x 5
    170lbs x 5
    185lbs x 5

    Nautilus Leg Press-

    200lbs x 10
    300lbs x 5
    340lbs x 5
    400lbs x 5

Overall a decent workout. Not my usual lifts, but a decent workout none the less. Hopefully be back in my normal gym pretty soon.

    BigNic- I agree buddy.

Soba- Thanks man. Yea, I'm not so worried about the decline. I know that as soon as I start back eating more, my lifts will start increasing again. It's just odd, that my BP is the only thing that is going down. All my other lifts are increasing or staying the same at the very least. Hmmm, I wonder if there is a mental side to this.

JustinF- Thanks big fella. It wasn't my usual workout by any means, but seeing as I a) didn't feel like walking across campus, and b) rushed for time, it wasn't all that bad of a workout.

    Food:

Meal 1- Chicken (No Skin), Potatos, Turkey Sub (Wheat Bread)

Meal 2- Fish, Chopped Beef, Salad

    Odds and Ends:
    Banana
    Nutri Grain Bar

    No Workout

Didn't get much sleep last night, so I took like a 2hr nap earlier today. Felt great afterwards.

Ready to hit the gym tommorow. I'll probably do some different lifts, just to switch things up a little bit.

    Food:

Meal 1- Pork(Tasted Like Turkey), Roasted Potatos, Turkey Sub (Wheat Bread), Pickle

Meal 2- Monterey Chicken, Rice, Salad

    Odds and Ends:
    Banana
    Nutri Grain Bar

    Workout:

    DB Press-

    40s x 10
    50s x 10
    60s x 5
    65s x 5
    70s x 5 (+5lbs)

    Pullups (Palms In)-

    BW x 10
    BW + 10lbs x 5
    BW + 10lbs x 5

    Dips-

    BW x 10
    BW + 25lbs x 5
    BW + 35lbs x 5
    BW + 55lbs x 5 (+5lbs)

Came pretty close to failing on the last set, but was able to finish the lift.

Hammer Strength Iso High Row (Combined Weight)-

    90lbs x 10
    180lbs x 10
    240lbs x 5
    240lbs x 5
    245lbs x 5

Overall a pretty damn good workout. I was able to progress in some lifts. Even after 3 weeks of cutting I was able to get the 70s up for 5 on DB press. Dips were freaking awesome. I swear, when I finish a set, my whole chest feels like its going to explode. I LOVE IT!!!! Been doing a lot of cardio this week; a lot more than I have been doing. My weight will probably end up being down 2-2.5lbs from last week, which is kinda a big drop, but hey at least it is in the right direction.

    BIG C- Thanks buddy.

JustinF- Thanks big fella. It was a pretty decent afternoon if I must say so myself.

    Food:

Meal 1- 6in Roasted Chicken Breast, Wheat Bread

Meal 2- Chicken Strips, Fries, Biscuit (This meal sucked, but I had more things on my mind.)

    Odds and Ends:
    Balance Bar
    Advantage Bar

    Workout-

    Lateral Raises:

    15s x 10
    25s x 5
    25s x 5
    30s x 5 (Sloppy Form) (+5lbs)

    Squats:

    95lbs x 10
    135lbs x 10
    195lbs x 5
    215lbs x 5
    225lbs x 5 (+5lbs)

    Smith Machine Overhead Press:

    57lbs x 10
    97lbs x 10
    127lbs x 5
    127lbs x 3

Had a decline in these big time. I don't really know why. It could be due to the fact that this was a rushed workout, as I had to get to the bus stop at a certain time.

    BB Shrugs:

    185lbs x 10
    225lbs x 10
    225lbs x 10

Overall a fairly good workout. The squats were good. I avoided deads mainly because I lacked time, and also my back was a little stiff.

A friend of mine killed himself today. He ran his car into a tree. The first two suicides I've ever known about, and they happen within five days. He killed himself because his gf didn't want to be with him anymore. I just don't understand how someone can do this to themselves and their family. Good luck where ever you are buddy.
