    Appreciate it Kevin.

No-gi BJJ tonight. Fuck me. The wrestlers in the class smoked me. Their top control and positioning are difficult for me to deal with at this point. Hopefully it'll come back quickly.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Gotta put those squirmy little bastards in their place. How long are the BJJ classes usually?

Usually 1hr of warmup and technique followed by another 20 minutes or so of solid rolling. Sometimes it differs though. I was at the gym for 2hrs last night.

    Week in Review -

Hit 4 BJJ sessions this week and 2 gym sessions. 4 grappling sessions will probably be too much if I'm going to maintain my lifting. The constant pressure, pulling and pushing does a number on my joints. My BJJ game is slowly coming back. Feeling a bit better on the mat. The lifting went well. Hit a big rep PR on my bench and a pretty decent one on my OH pressing. Not a bad week for me. We'll see what my weight is sitting at when I weigh in in the morning.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Putting in some great work Chub I could never hack lifting + the BJJ sessions. Pull is looking strong and grats on the bench and OH PR's.

Nice PR on those overheads, I really need to start doing more overhead work. I've been very slowly building up my shoulder strength again with the standing DB Presses I always do and my rotator actually doenst feel that bad during the movements anymore. The carry over is definitely showing in your bench strength keep it up.

I appreciate it Kev. It seems to be having some decent carryover. We'll have to just keep rolling with it and see.

    Week in Review:

Hit some decent PRs this week. Nothing all that crazy but some decent work overall. Only hit up Jits twice this week. Body couldn't handle 3 sessions with the lifting as well. I was smoked.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Got into a gi class tonight. Worked some butterfly guard stuff. Then proceeded to play pass and defend with 3 individuals for a solid 30 minutes. Absolutely fucking smoked. I need to work on changing my foot position when I start to lose the initial butterfly setup.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Deload, good man. Do you ever get dizzy from all the rolling? I get nauseatingly dizzy if i spin around once too fast.

The rolling tends to be very static/isometric in nature with short controlled bursts of energy. I don't spend too much time upside down. Thankfully.

Another deload workout today. Nothing to write home about.

Why are a lot of your deadlift sets off of 2 mats? Are you strong from the floor but weak after a few inches?
