    Comments:

Take a week off and forget how to pull. Hit a two rep PR even though I'm down 8lbs bodyweight, but it looks like shit. Ladies and Gentleman, do not watch the video for a tutorial on how to pull haha. Punished myself with a bunch of no belt work.

Fuck, fight, or hold the light.

Congrats on the PR. What part of your lift do you feel like was so bad?

I appreciate it Paul. Two main things were fucked up with my pulling. I have to drive my hips down a bit more so that my shoulders move back slightly. I normally do a much better job at that. I also need to bring my chin up a bit. I'm essentially looking about 3-4" in front of my feet. Picking up my chin will bring me behind the bar a bit more as well.

Yeah I wouldn't call it that bad. Cool you are so self-aware though. I don't pull wide like that so I guess I know less what to look for.

Very rushed for time. Tweaked my back. I've been extremely tight in my hamstrings lately and did almost zero mobility or warmup. I should've taken much longer time to warmup but oh well. It should heal quickly.

I feel like at the moment you've given up all hope of a peaceful capture and decide to taze someone it's probably extremely gratifying.

Just watched my video again. You're spot-on about my knees too. Your's don't come forward until you're halfway through the descent. Mine immediately look like they came out of a gun..lol

Haha thanks Pat. Just work on it bud...you'll get it soon.

My best squat ever is 405. That was done in a meet environment, with a belt, knee wraps and out of a monolift.

Felt pretty good today. Nothing spectacular, but solid. The percentages called for me to only work up to 225 but I felt smooth enough to workout up a bit higher without much issue. Bar speed felt solid. Overall some good pressing work for me.

good stuff. what's the benefit of the monolift? it looks like a fancy power rack.

Pat, the monolift eliminates the walkout all together and the time under bar significantly. Because you're not spending so much time under all that load, you don't fatigue nearly as quickly by the time you've completed your rep. Depending on how you normally train and what you squat, I'd wager the monolift is worth a minimum of 20lbs if not much more.

    2.8 miles - 25:14 (last 1/3-1/2 was into a 20mph head wind)

Really think this would've been mid 24s if not for the nasty ass head wind. Had a great pace and then took a nice hit.

Pretty damn good pulling day for me. No big numbers hit but a lot of unbelted work I couldn't complete in the past. Great session.
