    My routine (baby got back,) looking to change it around a little

    What do you think? I wanted to add in some more platoons for more than just my biceps, but i'm not sure where to add them for the best effect. Thoughts?

    Day 1-

    Run
    Rack pulls - 5x5
    T Bar row - 3x8
    Flat bench - 5x5
    Incline dumbbell - 3x8
    Standing Calf raise - 4x8
    Decline Situps - 3x8

    Day 2-

    Bicycle
    Full squats - 5x5
    Leg press - 3x8
    Leg curl - 5x5
    Standing dumbbell curls - 5x5
    Dumbbell curl 21s

    Day 3

    Run
    Chinups 5x5 (With weight added because they got too easy)
    Barbell pullover - 3x8
    Arnold Press - 5x5
    Shrugs - 3x8
    Bent over barbell rows - 3x8
    Seated calf raise - 4x8

    Day 4

    Romanian Deadlift - 5x5
    Good mornings - 3x8
    Walking lunges (really dont care for these) - 3x8
    Skull crushers - 5x5
    Cable pressdown - 3x8

    I wanna mix it up some with new exercises but still keep close to the BGB setup, because so far it's showing me amazing results.

    If you're seeing great gains then why would you want to change the routine?


    What are you looking to add in? More tricep work?

    I was thinking about adding in stuff like clean and snatch. I wanna switch the walking lunges with something better too.

    IMO walking lunges are a kick-ass exercise for your legs. I'd keep those in, even if you don't like them. Why don't you like them? Are you using a barbell? Maybe you'd like dumbbell lunges better?

    The routine seems pretty demanding already, but if you think you can handle it I think you could do a clean and snatch conditioning day possibly? I did something similar a long time ago where I'd do higher rep clean and jerks for a metabolic workout.

    Have you been trained in the Olympic lifts? They are hard to master and IMO I don't know if you'll see more size gains with them versus the big three. Someone else more experienced could probably chime in here.

    Well the size gains I am not overly worried about to be honest, my goals are strength. I've read about Olympic lifts and i'd really like to add some in, but I have no idea where I can put them.
