typicall how long before sugar crash sets in when you take a 50g dextrose and 50g whey 30 minutes before workout ??
having a crash before a workout would be a terrible idea
if you consume that shake 5 minutes before the workout you will get a different insulin response and will not crash
that should lead to a more productive workout
I use 70g dextrose, 50 whey, 10g creatine, 10g glutamine... I am on a 3/1/2/1 carb depletion split and i can feel when my blood sugar drops in about 1.5 hours when taken on an empty stomach
I have never "felt" a sugar crash yet I take 50+g of dextrose before/after workouts
I rarely/never workout >60 minutes
