    Weight Lifting and Growth Stunts

From many different people, I here many different things about how weight lifting can stunt your growth. Now I have come to get all YOUR advice on the situation.

Does weight lifting stunt your growth? What exercises do/dont? Any other information about this would be helpful. Im trying to get into good shape, but I dont want to sacrifice a few inches for it. Thank in advance peeps.

If anything, resistence exercise stimulates human growth hormone which could increase skelital bone length if you are in that stage of growth (obviously you wont grow taller from human growth hormone if you are 40 years old).
