You get what you pay for dude.

You believe an Ipod is overpriced for what you get out of it? And you believe there is a better product out there for an mp3 player thats also cheaper??

Actually yes, I belive apple is actually quite smart in over charging though. Its an obviouse example of prestige pricing.

Don't let a lithium ion battery die, ever.

Unless your ipod has specific instructions to do so.

Um, I paid $59 for my shuffle. Definitely not overpriced.

It's not terribly expensive but I think that it's overprised for what you get. They're discontinuing the shuffle anyway.

iPods are amazing. I really like them and would always be willing to pay their price. One reason they might be "so expensive" is that Apple will always help you. I bought two items from apple (related with my iPod) opened the package to find out it didn't work (it's one of those mega-plastic packages that are sharp as hell, you can never open them, and you can't reseale them) and Apple exchanged it for free and without receipts. Also, even after the warranty they tried to fix my iPod, but couldn't. So, part of the price is their excellant service. I am very pleased with their products.

I have a friend who keeps his ipod in his locker and uses wireless headphones. I just keep mine in my pocket. I can't find a armband that will fit around my arm.
