Do you guys try to stay away from sugar when you're bulking?

Always stay away from sugar, except post-workout where you should have around 100g of simple carbs like dextrose, honey or any high GI carb.
well i do not add sugar to food. and avoid gfood like sweet etc.

damnit, so this Dr. Smatkins "Hi GI for the body and for the soul" diet I've been trying is a crock of sh*t??? Someone here explain to me the negatives of eating only 100% pure sugar, no protein, and no fat could be
