As long as you can recover from both your cardio and weightlifting then you should be fine.

Generally speaking, if you over do your cardio, you run the chance of burning BCAAs (protein) which obviously ain't the best thing if you're bulking.

I myself perform cardio 5 - 6 times a week and have had no problems bulking, imo it has helped significantly in gaining muscle as well as staying leaner then I would without the additional cardio, not to mention the health benefits. As long as you allow yourself adequate rest and provide your body with enough nutrients you should have no problem.

I think 3x a week is good, however I would mix up what you do for cardio. Throw in some HIIT (short sprint repeats), long distance cardio (run/bike for around 30-60 minutes) and maybe an intense run for around 12-16 minutes straight.

if you are doing it to just keep some sort of cardiovascular health 2-3x a week for 20-30 minutes would suffice.
