    Olive Oil

I get my fat intake mostly from peanut butter and olive oil (sometimes almonds). How many Tablespoons of Olive Oil should i be drinking daily?
I'm not counting calories caus basically I eat as much as I can.

If you're not tracking calories or, more importantly, macro breakdowns then it's impossible to say. The guidline I would use is no less than 20% of calories from fat in order to maintain healthy hormone production, and this fat from healthy sources like nuts, avocados, fish and of course olive oil.

I'm currently taking 1-2 Tablespoons/ day. Can I take 3-5 Tablespoons/ day? and would it be better to spread them out during the day?

you would want at least 10% of cals from healthy fats (they are essential), that translates to ~2.5 tablespoons/ day

so cooking using olive oil is fine? or does something happen to it once it turns a certain temperature? i used to eat home made potato chips cooked in olive oil when i was a little kid, was wonderin if that was any good for me or not?

potato chips fried in ANY oil are very bad for you, because the frying produces a very carginogenic chemical. same goes for french fries.

when heated, polyunsaturated fats are hydrogenated and turn to trans fatty acids. you do not want those. cooking with olive oil is fine, extra virgin olive oil is even better. but avoid vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil, etc.

i thought there was some complex process for making hydrogenated fats-

anyway on a seperate note: what is the best source for MONOunsaturated fats? I know the ones for good fats but what are the best for just mono?
