The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Im gonna keep this one going this time.

I was HARDCORE from Feb - October of 2002. Lost a lot, did some massive progress. Then I stopped. Drank too much, got involved with drugs. I have since fixed those issues, luckily did not hurt myself or anyone else. I tried back in July of 2003 to get back on the wagon, and it did not last very long, as I was still in a bad situation. I am now living in a better place, and am ready to go ahead and try to get back on the wagon, eat right, and get my ass back into a better place.

    Then plan:
    - Using fitday to track intake (goal is 1800 cal a day, since I need to burn off some fat.
    - Gym at least 3 times a week, moderate work outs until I start to not get painfully sore
    - Find a new gym, my World Gym got replaced by "Fitness Factory" and they suck.

    The goal:
Get back under 200 by November 15th, and have a little more body confidence, and get back into the practice of eating right, cooking my own meals, and drinking less.

    Good luck to me.

I'd say so. When I go kayaking and push it my back is fried afterwards.

8/11 my bday - more reason to cheat.

No workout, but lots of protein. (lots of booze too though)
14 oz filet mignon definitely helped (plus mashed and asparagus)

8/12 - no gym again (the vaca has thrown me off)
but ate ok, some pizza for lunch, light breakfast, and leftover filet mignon for dinner.

8/13 will be bad as well (poker night = beer) but I will make up for it by either going to the gym tomorrow, or mountain biking my ass off on Saturday.
