    Have you ever heard of using Preparation H to help burn fat?

    Me and my gym owner were talking today about abs. I asked him how i should go about losing the thin layer of skin on my stomach. He said to get some preparation H and put it on before i work my abs. He said it'll aid in the fat burning. Ever heard of this?

    as far as i know, there is places on guys where fat is the first to be deposited, the bottom abs is one of those places, you have to loose fat there the same way you lose it anywhere else.

    Yea thats my problem right now. I'm by no means over weight, i'm actually underweight. But i used to do alot of sit ups and crunches. Eventually my abs ripped into 6. But i have layer of fat over it, and they dont show. But i can feel them realy good.

    do cardio, lose weight- thats the only way, either that or get bigger abs, i can see mine, but they have a layer of fat over them- a.k.a skin, the problem for me is my abs just arent big enough to see all 6 yet, i think it might b the same for you

    If i work my abs with weights, it'll just push that fat out onto the abs wont it?

    it will, but it would also stretch the skin/fat over the abbs and give better defination, it depends how much of a layer of fat you have, a pic would help but not necesary

    Prep - H does not burn fat, it removes the water in the skin. That's how it shrinks hemorrhoids. It's also good for puffiness around the eyes, for the same reason.

    All those cutting gels do the same thing... remove the water from the skin. Rehydrate, and you will plump up again.

    Bodybuilders sometimes smother themselves in prep H before a competition. As stated above, it just helps draw out local moisture from under the skin. This probably will have little to no effect if you aren't already "significantly" lean, and is no means of anything more than an extremely short-term measure.

    Depends. Your abs are a muscle. If you're cutting, you aren't goin to gain any significant size, if any. If you're bulking, you'll gain fat, but can strengthen your core.
