    9 skittles?

    No big deal.
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

    That's at least 2 Our Father's and 5 Hail Mary's.

People wonder why I call myself Mr. T. One dude asked, 'does the T stand for tough?' I said no. Another dude asked if the T stands for my last name, Tureaud. No it does not. The 'T' in Mr. T stands for tuna. T loves tuna.

I have not touched anything with sugar in it, or anything that can be regarded as cheating for 3months, 12weeks of oatmeal with water and brown rice and eggwhites everyday, nothing else, I am beginning to ask my self if its really worth it? but I will just keep on going, will you?

That sounds like a boring diet, I'm sure you can add somethings to flavor up your nutrition without cheating.

    What for???

Your probably doing yourself more harm than good with that type of approach, your body must have become stale after so long without changing things. Besides cheating keeps me sane and you have to have some form of Simple Sugars post workout?!?
The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

If you can count the number of skittles, it isn't cheating.

Somehow, I seriously doubt your body gives a sh*t. In fact, unless you're allergic to skittles, I KNOW your body doesn't give a sh*t. Now if you had taken down the whole bag instead of the oatmeal, you might have felt a little weird afterwards, and maybe taken in a few more calories than you intended. You might also have felt a little sluggish about an hour later, since the sugar's processed pretty quickly. And if you made that substitution a habit, you may be setting yourself up for type II diabetes later in life.

However, all your body sees, whether it's carbs from oats or carbs from skittles is sugar. Plain and simple. So don't sweat it.

(yes, oats have your fiber, are better for extended energy release, have good fats and protein, blah blah... we're talking big picture here)

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

Are 9 skittles on your diet? If not you cheated. Not a major deal but it is cheating. If you are preparing for a comp you can be sure that your competition did not eat any skittles. It's just a question of how bad you want it.

Oh god, Rock, live a little.

The world isn't going to end because you had a cheat meal. LOL

Seriously though, your dedication is to be commended...I don't think *I'd* have the willpower to go the distance at that level.

Cheating is something like a huge pizza, or a night out drinking 10 pints. 9 skittles is nothing, just don't do it every day!

I cracked, I ate lasagna and I loved every little bit.

Belial, so can you get diabetes if you dont eat sugar over a long time, and then a little and then not for a long time again?

haha, I'm over the skittles Its cheat day(meal) today...I was too strict early on..probably went into shut down mode. 2 months of eating clean...about 12 pounds off the mid-section. Measurements/strength staying about the same.

gonna add dehydrated strawberrys to the oats for a change this week.
