the school weightroom has an exellent surround sound system. u can put cds in and we listen to:
    Godsmack
    Linkin Park
    Smile Empty Soul
    Disturbed
    Slipknot
3 Doors Down and various other exellent rock bands.

There was one day where some fool put....this is hard to talk about....Alicia Keyes.
She's hot, but she's for posters, not the weightroom.

They have a tv in the gym and when I am doing cardio I watch that. Usually the music channel is on. When I am lifting I just tune in to what is going on around me, that is unless I am into my set. It is a gym in a comdo building so it only ever has a few people in it at a time. Most ofen it is empty when I am doing weights.

It all really depends on the mood/mindset I'm in, but more then usual...something a little "heavier" then music you'll find on my local radio station. A Perfect Circle, Finger Eleven, Sevendust, Linkin Park and so on and so on

    It's a must. I can't workout without my RCA mp3 player.
