The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

At that weight and size the last thing you need to worry about is emphasizing "inner" pec developement.

"Test all things; hold fast what is good.": 1 Thessalonians 5:21

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

here is my reasoning. Over all i have decent pec size and shape, but it seems the middle of my pecs dont "joing up". If you look at many of the "bigger people" there pecs almost touch in the middle. It looks to me like i haven't developed that innder part enough.
thanks for all the compliments guys.. but i still have a long way to go.. before i can go from being a fat ass to being truely huge.

    Damn....

you should compete in powerlifting, and by the way, you may have a high body fat but you have a lot of muscle too and you're freakin HUGE!!!!

You dwarf most people I've seen, I'll tell you that much.

Sorry to hear about the accedent white.
You could still enter p'lifting meets and just do the bench, there are alot of people that only compete in benching and you have one hell of a bench!

yeah.. but.. i train for enjoyment i enjoy the pain.. and the suffering.. i immigrated to the usa in nov 95.. and weights 160 lbs.. in the last 5 and a half years i have trained for maybe 3. have been off for LONG periods at a time.. a few 6 months.. a year.. and now 10 months...
i really just want to find the natural limit of my body.. i dont train to impress anyone.. or to win any titles.. i train because i can honetly say it makes be feel good.. i enjoy going and working out.. Seems alot of people train for the wrong reasons these days.
I thought about doing contests, but.. im not one to compete.. i like doing it for me.But as down as i feel about my current bad condition owing to not working out so long.. these words of encouragement are really psyching me up.
    thanks!!

You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders bro. I agree with you about people training for the wrong reasons. BTW you have made great gains since '95.

    Welcome to America!

Anyways, I think that once you lose that fat, you'll notice just how much inner pec you have. You've got enough inner, outer, upper, lower, sideways pec for you and I together. I know you're working on it, but drop that load and you'll reveal all that glorious pec.

bah did you bump this thread to ask that, its 2 months old!

..and if you go from 160-265 in 3 years, either its alot of fat or you use alot of that extra strong muscle tech stuff.
