The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Biggest natural bodybuilder

Who is the biggest bodybuilder ever who didn't use juice? This is a tough question because its impossible to know for sure who used and who didn't. All we have is their word or second hand evidence. Still an interesting question to ask nonetheless...

I think it was concluded in a similar thread that Adi Rae is not natural.

I won't even comment on Ronnie

I think he is referring to when he first entered and not the condition he is in right now.

Take time to read before you post.

I don't believe that Coleman was clean when he turned pro. I do know that is the claim, but I don't believe it.

To answer the question, of the bodybuilders who I am 100% sure were clean, and you have to go back the 50s and before for that, I will vote for John Grimek. If you just want to talk about huge guys I would have to go with Paul Anderson or Doug Hepburn. Both men were 300+ lbs and incredibly strong.

yeah, Grimek was actually pretty ripped. You can find pics of him online, and his back looked really good. Couldn't he squat over 600lbs too?

Grimek was a very powerful man. I have heard various numbers for his best lifts, but all accounts are that he was very strong. He actually competed in Olympic lifting as well.

Actually, I have some old Muscular Development magazines from the 70s in which he was the editor. He was a great man of the iron game.

The BEST photo I have ever seen of him is in the latest Milo magazine. I will try to post it here.

I read that article on T-Mag and found it very interesting. It puts a very good perspective on the sport from a guy who seems like a pretty straight-shooter. If you get time I would recommend reading it.
