The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I like benching the most. On leg day I have to worry about my knees and lower back, but on bench day I can just lift the damn weight.

I look forward to chest days the most; arms would have to be second.

I'd say I look forward to legs(cuz they need the most work), and I dread chest(because my bench sucks). Although, I love the pump you get from chest/arms.

I dont have a preference. I look forward to every workout.

I like chest/shoulder days because I use to have issues with my shoulder and I wasnt able to get over 185 without serious pain. That has finally gone away within the last 1/1.5 years and my bench and shoulder work has gone up.

I love back/biceps cause I enjoy the stretch of the lat muscles and I feel I am fairly strong in the back category.

Legs have always been a joy. I like to wake up the next morning and cringe at the thought of walking.

Hell, I have even started looking forward to cardio. (actually, looking forward while doing cardio, the hotties at the gym love the ellipticals and the thread mills are right behind them)

Back day comes in a close second
    Chest day last.

[Hallmark moment]I've tried my hand at lifting a few times throughout the years but this is the first time things have come together for me, so naturally I look forward to all of my workouts now.[/Hallmark moment]

Strange as it may sound, the days I look forward to most are the days with exercises I'm struggling with at the time. I guess it's the challenge of breaking the plateau.

Leg day, cause I can RDL more weight than a lot of guys can squat in my gym.

Sorry, just had to say that. In order of prefernce:

    Legs
    Chest
    Back
    Shoulders
    Arms

I used to hate leg days but ever since I've switched to regular squats (used to be a front squatter), I've been loving it.
