carbs... how much do i need?
i know you need a lot of carbs before you work out so you have a lot of energy and you dont have muscle breakdown. plus carbs make protein absorb faster. my question is this. how much grams of carbs do you think is the right amount before a 60-90 minute workout? i usually take about 30 grams. is that enough, too little or too much?
i was also thinking of buying carb supplements because my friend told me theyre the best. he told me to get dextrose. so i wanted to know if you guys knew what this is. how will it help me and do you recommend it??
30g sounds good. When having a preworkout shake I have about 30g of carbs and about 15g of whey.
Dextrose is definitely the way to go.
