    PLEASE HELP: Air Alert 3 BAD?

    Now, i play basketball, and i want to jump higher. This program is meant to help your knees, but is it to much?

    People say it can seriously hurt your knees, but i need a profesional to tell me.
    The reps do seem rather high, but its only 3 times a week.

    I have knee problems and I did Air Alert II, which is really similar, and it bothered them to the extent that I had to stop. It will dramatically increase your vertical, though.

    leg werk isnt that important 4 a big vert i play highschool basketball and i dont do n e legs n i can almost vj like 40" i do mostly bench press curls and abs and i seam 2 do fine

    Anyways, if you don't have any knee problems prior to this, and you do it on proper grounds you should be fine. Otherwise, you could go with speed squats and calf raises. Basically explosive movements upwards will increase your vertical.

    Nm just do some tricep kickbacks and you should be putting up 40"+ vertical jumps.

    dont listen to all that stuff. i've done air alert twice and dont have problems wit my knees.. at the worst maybe jumpers knee but it goes away. just do it on carpet and make sure u do the exercises the right way.
