The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

just a general question, please help

ok i didnt know where to post this but here goes anything. This is for all of you guys who shave your chest and stomach, i dont now if i have really sensitive skin or what but after i shave i get really bad razor burn on my upper chest and i dotn know why. I use Mach 3 turbo razors and sensitive skin protection shaving gel, i shave witht he grain ins5tead of against the grain to decrease irritation and then i have used aftershave, lotion and baby powder after i shave to calm the irriatation but it doesnt seem to work. I have all these little red bumps and they drive me nuts. I dont know what to do bc i am using the most expensive razor and shaving gel in the supermarket. Any suggestions on how to avoid razor burn and red bumps. Might be a wierd question but hey i had to do something

Probably can't avoid razor burn. However, Visine(they eye stuff) works great for soothing razor burn.

A good place to ask these types of questions is in the general health section. Why not do away with the razor burn an get ur chest waxed? Its would look much better, stay hair free for longer, no burn or other unsightly saving marks.

try shaving in the shower. do your normal 20 min wash thing and by that time the hairs are much more supple. I shave against the grain, with cheap soap and only a mere twin bladed razor and i dont get a rash. i dont put anything on after either. prolly just lucky but i always shave after the hairs have gotten soft first.

Use electric razor. Braun does a great job and gets a smooth shave. You will find that waxing adds up in $ over time and doing it or getting someone to do it gets old. I also use it to shave my arms.

after some research on the web, i used soap to wash, exfoliating scrub to scrub, then i used my sisters intuition razor with gillete protection gel, then i used the exfoliating scrub again with a loofa. i say it worked pretty well considern that before i shaved my chest was razor burnt bad and then i didnt even wait for it to heal and when i got out ofthe shower it was 90% clear, i then put on johnson and johnson baby powder. the next morning its almost all the way gone all though the bench press bar has kind of irriatated it from hitting mny chest
