hey guys, i was wondering if anybody could help me with a good routine for my upperbody, everyone knows how it is being young(18) and wanting to be big, i dont really care about lower body as much, but would like a good routine for building mass up top, i would like to come out doubling my arm width. DB excercises would be helpfull
Bench, squat, deadlift, chinups, eat, eat, eat, eat. If you don't gain a lot weight all over, your arms probably won't get very big.
You wouldn't want an unproptional body, if you decide not to work your legs then later on decide to do them ...... your gonna have a huge task at hand.

I see plenty of guys with big arms and scrawny legs. The spend hours in the gym every week, doing their curl jockey thing. The waste a ton of time in the gym.
It's simply a matter of efficiency that you should do compound exercises. Compound pressing and pulling are probably the two best exercises for arms anyway.
Finally, anyone interested in just building up their arms needs to work something else: their brains and guts. And for these, squat away.
When I started lifting I was all about upper body. Now that I've been doing squats, I wish I started doing them a lot earlier... :-/
Best advice: Do whatever you want, then come back when you're ready to work your lower body.
