Can you freeze regular eggs?
Are powdered egg whites the same as regular eggs whites?
Essentially yes, if reconstituted as per the container's instructions. Although I've never used the powdered eggwhites I've seen at the grocery store in the baking supply aisle, I'd be curious if anyone else has used them. I was thinking of dumping them into protein shakes, but it's probably cheaper to buy Protein powders that are 100% or mostly egg albumin, than to buy those little jars of powdered eggwhites I've seen at the grocery store. I'll have to look into that. Anybody compare prices?

Yes, it's probably better to use egg-based protein powder. Eating all the eggs is a pain.
...but then we need to think about $$
