Ok, say you eat 6 meals a day split up every 2-3 hours. But one day for some reason you end up having a 4 hour gap between meals and your hungry. Now the time span between meals be shortened in order to still have 6 meals. My question is does this extra 2 hour gap slow down your metabolism so much so that you should lower the amount of calories in one of the meals? or should you just eat the same amount? How much will your metabolism be effected by these situtions.
No effect on your metab. If you skip a meal just make up for the lost calories in your following meals.

but saying that...don't skip meals a lot. It's just not a good habbit to get into.
You got to skip alot of meals for your metabolism to slow down. If you skip a meal its not the end of the world.
