Military press is GREAT. You can add the arnold press with some dbs, lateral raises are about the best shoulder exercise you can do. Upright rows can be good if you don't feel any wrist or shoulder pain doing them. After you do 3 or 4 different shoulder exercises, a great cool down exercise that I do is 20 small amrcircles forward, 20 small backward, 20 big circles forward, 20 big backward, then a wing-flapping motion lifting as hard as I can for at least 20 but until I can't lift my arms anymore.
Oh and an excellent warmup for your shoulders is to stand in a doorway and raise your arms until they touch the sides, then push against the doorway as hard as you can for 30-45 seconds, wait about a minute and a half, 2 tops, and repeat. This will increase your strength and make the rest of your shoulder routine more effective.

I was do shoulders yesterday (before reading this post) and I did stading dumbell lat raises, dumbell front raises, shrugs and shoulder press. Today, im not even score In fact, I rarely have score shoulders. Am I not working them enough?

Also, whats the difference between the military press and the arnold press other then the bar vs. bumbell and the fact that you rotate your hands?

Were your shoulders weak by the end of the exercise? On your next shoulder day, use the warmup I mentioned, then the same workout you did yesterday, except do the shrugs after the shoulder press, because they work traps and not delts. After all that, do 2 sets of arm circles to cool down and you'll get better results, if results are what you're not experiencing. If your shoulders are getting stronger, or you see they're growing, and if your shoulders feel tight or look like they've changed shape after the exercise, you're working them enough already.

Great exercise, hits all 3 delts. The difference between db and bb is a stronger arm can't compensate for a weaker arm with dbs, and dbs are usually better for compound movements because of increased ROM and the use of stabilizer muscles.

Yes, put your arms up at a right angle to the sides and do small forward circles, small backward, bigger forward, big backward, then your shoulders should feel a little tired, so finish them off with a wing-flapping motion, focusing harder on the lifting than the pushing down of course.

Shoulders are my second favorite bodypart to work out.

I usually do 3 circuits of DB or Military press, side delt raises, Smith Machine Rows and rear delt raises.

I finish up with 3 drop sets of side raises, starting with 40lb DB to 15lbs

    feels great!

Shoulders are awesome to workout and the exercises are probably some of the most practical ones out there. (OK deadlift is probably THE most practical)

How often are you holding something over your head? Carrying the couch that's too big over that fence that's too high to try to get it in that patio door that'll be too narrow on your buddies new appartment (last time I help him move.... not really). Lifting something up to a buddy on a project or simply playing with a kid and throwing them in the air? All shoulders.

Military press (HEAVY) or DB press (to make sure both arms are working the same)
    Arnold press
Front raises done on an incline bench with a barbell (try it)
    Side raises
    Rear rasies

    I can feel it

I love doing shoulders now. Last February and March I had operations on both shoulders (impingement of the cuffs from genetics). After not being able to do them for over 8 months I try to work them twice as hard and get them up to par. I look forward to shoulder day in the gym now.

Id say make a goal foryourself. I get bored down the line if i am just lifting to get big. I make goals and reach for it, makes it more exciting. GOALS!!!

but i still hate side and front raises!
