    How bad is sodium?

I just recently realized that a large part of my diet involves a lot of sodium, and I've heard plenty that you should keep sodium levels down. Problem is, I regualarly eat deli meats and jerky that is loaded with salt. I guess what I want to know is how all that extra sodium is going to affect a bulking cycle? Does it just make you retain water, which would be ok until my cutting cycle. Or does it affect muscle building, and need to be cut down considerably?

    Thanks.

the biggest concern is people with high blood pressure

if it's not effecting your physique then I don't see it being an issue

especially since you are getting in from real foods as opposed to potatoe chips
