    Hi! I didn't know where to post this question. I basicaly need to buy an Olympic bar with some accompanying weights. Anyone have info on a good website to purchase from with reasonable shipping to Los Angeles? Thanks!

    Might want to give www.biggerfasterstronger.com a look. You can order a free catalog, but the products can be fairly expensive. It's the only place I can think of right now but if I remember right they sell db's and such for .39cents per lb. I ordered the free catalog for s***s and giggles. You may find something of interest in there for you to order. But even though the stuff's expensive, it's quality. My school has ordered lots of stuff from them and it's all good. Hope it helps.

    I'll look at that site superior_will, thanks! I'm in downtown Los Angeles, CA. I've been using free weights at the gym but now I want to add some weights at home. I'm kind of tired of driving to my gym and sometimes waiting to use a machine or some of the free weights.

    This is about the best deal I've found on free weights. Any olympia sports should be selling for like $110...thats what the one an hour and a half from me sells the set for.

    $100 bucks for a 300lb set including bar.

    Yeah $100 is a good deal! Is that bar an "Olympic bar" or a "standard bar"? If it's Olympic then I'll buy the set pronto.

    Read the description. Its a regular 45lb, 2in. olympic bar. Its an olympic weight set.

    Features

    * Two 2.5-lb plates
    * Four 5-lb plates
    * Two 10-lb plates
    * Two 25-lb plates
    * Two 35-lb plates
    * Two 45-lb plates
    * One 45-lb, 2-in, 7 foot Olympic bar
    * Two 2-in spring clip collars

    I'd recommend going to an Olympia sports store and paying the $10 that it was there, then having to pay shipping costs...but either way its a good deal.
