    Chin ups/ pull Ups?

Stupid question, but i couldnt find a real answer. Is the real difference between a chin up and a pull up how far you come up on the movement or how your hands ae placed. Are chin ups palm away?

How hands are place. Chinup are with palms facing towards body, pullup is with hands facing away. Or is it the other way? Damnit.

EDIT: Just because it was bugging me so much did a quick search - found this: http://www.wannabebigforums.com/show...=pullup+chinup

    Correct.

Do them both. They're great. Also try neutral grip, palms facing each other.

Chins are easier because of the increased bicep involvement, so it's a reasonable idea to do pullups first and then chinups as your lats fatigue.
