The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    ...massive height growth.

I've been 6' and 3/4" for about eleven months.. I know this, because that's what I was at the doctor, and I weekly height-measure myself against an adult friend who's too old to grow and too young to shrink (:P).

I figured I was done growing, but yesterday we measured against each other as normal, no shoes, same surface as always, etc. - I definitely tower over him a good inch higher than I used to.

Is it even physiologically possible to grow an entire inch in one week at sixteen?

I'd say you might wanna just use a tape measure, and get measured against a wall, mark the spot and see if you've grown just by your height compared to the mark.

People's height changes during a single day. Your spine can contract, you can slouch, there are a number of things that add to your total height. So comparing yourself to another person is not the best way to do it.

The inch you grew could just be that they had a bad nights sleep and were all contracted and smaller, while u were limber and loose and longer.

Use a wall. At the height of my growth spirts i only put on 3 inches over 6 months, but i didnt grow quickly, i just never stopped.

Extremely unlikely if not impossible. Like others have said above, just mark a wall and monitor that way.
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

If you measured in the morning, that's probably why, you're taller in the morning than you are at night. In the morning I'm 6'3.5'', at night I am 6'2.5''

I'm about an inch longer in the morning too... Always get good boners in the morning! :-)
