Can someone help me with postwork out meal?
i train in the AM empty stomach(NO CARDIO)
and after my workout I consumed a protein shake 2scoop serving 40gramprotein/20carbs in them now that i ran out of this protein i bought optimum whey protein and plan on doing the same 2scoops 44protein but their is no carbs in the powder what can i use as a replacement??? i can prepare a meal because i go straight to school...... I AM TRYING TO LEAN OUT ,thx for the help
oh heres my diet i was following for 3weeks or so
Meal1-40protein/20carb PROTEIN SHAKE
Meal2-about 2-3cut up grilled chicken breast with broccoli or sweet potatoe
meal3-1cup lowfat cottage cheese mixed with oatmeal and 5egg whites
meal4-2chicken breast and some sort of carbs such as sweet potatoe or whole wheat bread or salad
meal5- 5-6egg whites
on days i DONT TRAIN i replace meal 1 with 1cup cottage cheese mixed with protein powder and few egg whites or 1cup cottage cheeese with oatmeal and egg whites

i heard that the sugars that u consume post workout it will not stored as fat or anything since i workout in the morning...helps repair and build tissue?
but wont harm my leaning process?
what do you think is better?
