    Bent Over Lateral Raises and Shrugs: Duplicate Exercises?

    On shoulder day, I do bent over lateral raises (among others) and on back day I do shrugs.

    Are these duplicate exercises, hitting the same muscle group?

    They are not duplicates lifts. Bent over lats hit the delts and shrugs work the traps. You might get some trap usage in bent overs, but it's a very insignificant amount.
