what defines a "good chest day"?

Any one of you care to share?

Or maybe a good workout day? Those days that you really felt good.

Currently very unsatisfied with my chest area.

    Thanks.

Depends if you BodyBuild or Powerlift. But most would say Personnal Records are the best feeling

    I do bodybuilding.

But anyone can post their good experiences.

I normally have good bicep/tricep days but quite a bad chest day normally.

A good day for me is making an improvement on every lift.

A good chest day is being able to get above my working set on either DB press or BB press.

a good "any" day for me is when I have sufficient mental and physical energy so that I can put a good effort into every rep of every set.

I'd say I have good days about 40% of the time when I'm not on creatine and about 75% of the time when I am on.

A good chest day is short, quick, and done, so I can move onto larger, more important muscle groups. Or beer drinking.

Anything involving the back or legs would be more important.

On a good "any" day I'll leave the gym totally blasted and shell-shocked from the intensity I put into my workout. Sometimes my hands will still be shaking for half an hour afterwards. On those good days I tend to improve my lifts and there's a sense that I really enjoy working out. The pump is usually there, as well as the soreness.

I'd say a good chest day, for me at least, is one where I reach new lifts that I haven't made before (like last Monday). Days where I am intense and really really into it, then I am sore as hell the next day. Great!

Nash is a rock climber. He could care less about his chest. He's worried about grip, back, and pre-faded jeans.

For me a good chest day is a day where I walk off the workout floor, fiddle with my lock for ten minutes because I can barely pick my arms up to chest level, drink my post workout sludge, then stammer to the car and climb in only to find that I am nearly immobilized by pump.

I'm just kidding. A good chest day is just when I'm working chest and realize that I look better than everybody else around me. Then I smile and touch myself out of righteous indignation.

LOL, true! Ironically, chest is one of my best developed parts, and it also happens to be the one muscle group that can actively hinder climbing progress. I'd much rather have huge shoulders, but I don't. The world is so cruel.

Note: Not pre-faded jeans, but neon lycra and spandex tights!

my good days are when I work out so hard that all I wanna do afterwards is go home, eat like a madman and then go to sleep. Usually I just fall asleep and forget to eat though. But lack of food is prolly why I get so tired. Vicious cycle.
If it feels good, I'll do it.
