    Leg press, deadlift and shrug: cornerstones for mass building?

    I just read this article on askmen.com and had trouble believing that the writer preferred the leg press to the squat (because apparently you can use more weight) and didn't even mention the bench press.

    what do you guys think?

    He also seemed big on static contractions vs. dynamic reps.
