The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Better...Arnold or DB shoulder press?

Ok, I know they both work slightly different parts of the shoulders and that the Arnold Press is supposed to get your shoulders to look rounder, but I'm trying to figure out why most people do either or and not both. Is it bad to do them both? Or do you just pick one and stick to it for the main dumbell exercise for your shoulders?

If you are supposed to basically "pick one" as I see most people doing at my local gym, then which one would be better for overall growth and mass on the delts? I find that my delts are the most lacking muscles in my body and I really want to be training them to my optimal ability.

i dont think arnold presses make your shoulder look rounder, im pretty sure they just work all three heads of your delts, which i guess could make them my symmetrical.

despite the rotation during the Arnold Press, its still a pressing movement just like a normal shoulder press. Doing both is essentially doubling the number of sets and you risk overtraining your shoulders. Pick one and then alternate to the other one when you're bored.
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

I'd say Shoulder Press is alot better for front and side delts because you can use more weight.

Nothing compares to the Arnold Press for shoulders IMO.

You may consider one of the DB presses then a BB military press or something of the like for variety.
