    quickness

    i need to improve my quickness, im a hwt college wrestler, 6'4 250lbs about 14%bf. im already alot faster than most opponents but i wanna be quicker. how should my training change? right now im doing everything heavy, and mostly basic movements, trying to get as big as possible.

    You need to improve the strength of Type II muscle fibers with ballistic movements like power cleans, plyometrics, and shuttle runs.

    You need to concentrate on the specific ability. Lifting doesn't have much carryover to unweighted movements like you're talking about.
    Vin Diesel has a fever.. and the only prescription is more cowbell.

    You need to train to increase your Type IIa and IIb muscle fiber. Then you will see gains in quickness and agility.

    Not exactly. He'd see gains to an extent, with a loaded movement.

    Agility and quickness really aren't impacted by maximal strength or even RFD, though.
