If it doesn't make you nauseous

I've heard that consuming large amounts of dairy before any strenuous physical activity adversly affects performance. However, drinking alot of milk isn't harmful unless its causing digestion problems, which you would notice. The enyzme lactase is what is needed to digest the milk sugar lactose, as one gets older the presence of the enzyme decreases, and at very different rates for very different people. Milk is an excellent source or protein, calcium, and vitamin D. So as long as you aren't noticing any digestion difficulties, drink up.
