    How Does This 5 Day Split Look?

    Monday: Legs/Abs
    Tuesday: Chest/Triceps
    Wednesday: Back/Biceps
    Thursday: Shoulders/Abs
    Friday: Rest
    Saturday: Arms/Dead lifts
    Sunday: Rest

    I'm bulking and I think I'm gonna go with this split for a while. Anyone see any problems or am I good to go?
    Current Stats

    24 years old

    5'10 220 pounds



    Waist: 38 Shoulders 56 Chest: 47 Arms (cold): 17.5 Forearms: 13.5 Quads: 26.5 Calves: 16.5 Neck: 17.5

    PR's

    BB Bench: 315 @ 215
    Squats: 410 @ 205 (last winter)
    Deads 515 @ 214
    Total: 1240

    I would drop the Saturday “arms” and just perform Deadlifts.
    What am I on?
    My back for the bench press.
    My feet for the squat.
    What are you on?

    I agree with him. Why? Because you have already worked your arms during the week. Also they have been indirectly worked in numerous other exercises. I would either just DL as Ironman said or put calves in there so you can focus all of your energy on quads and hams on leg day. I think the routine looks pretty good overall.

    It looks similiar to mine, but I drop the shoulders day completely and do a day of just bis and tris (I work chest by itself and back by itself), you could throw in shoulders if you want but I have found direct shoulder work to be counter productive. You could throw in traps and calves with deads and you're good to go

    Drop extra arms day and do deads on your leg day, trust me it kills but it is worth it.
