The rule enforcement is just not conistent enough, IMO. THere are times where just tapping the wideout will get a flag and sometimes it doesn't. Did you guys see Jeff Fisher when one of his DB's barely touched a wideout he lost hs mind.
Yup. Its ****ing gay, I hate that enforcement of the rule. Its a physical game, a contact sport... well it used to be If you cant touch a fast receiver at all, he will be open every time. Its not fair and makes the game all offense. I love good defense so it totally pisses me off
lol, Old man football. I'll probably one of those guy's 20 years from now, going balls out till I pull a hammy, or hurt my back haha.
that article is full of crap
the bottom line is that this has ALWAYS been the rule and given that the rule was not being enforced very well, some teams took a LOT of liberties with it
then again this Kevin Hench just seems to be following in the grand tradition of crap analysis and commentary we've come to expect from FOX SPORTS.
If anything Kevin Hench is the cry baby.

In Memphis, it is illegal for a woman to drive by herself, unless a man is walking or running infront of the vehicle, waving a red flag in order to warn approaching pedestrians and motorists.
