okay i hurt my rotator cuff kinda bad in soph year of HS, now a senior in college, so like 6 years ago. to this day i cannot throw a ball my hardest w/o pain for a day or two. anyways today i began intramural wrestling, and haven't been on a mat in quite some time. needless to say i hurt my rotator cuff in the 45 minutes i was there. my instinct is to ice, but it's not a muscle, i don't think. isn't it a joint issue? anyways i'm just stretching it til i hear if i should ice or what. any advice (besides 'don't do things to irritate it like lifting and wrestlign') would be greatly appreciated
