The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

he had a lot more bodyfat which adds a lot to biceps

I carded Stone Cold Steve Austin at a club in Boston when I was workin the door, I didn't even recognize him he was so much smaller than I expected

Hogan blows, Hogan vs. ____ always stinks.

I doubt they are 24 inches, I mean that's huge. The man is big, but if you have ever seen him live (I have WM18) they aren't THAT big. I'm going with 19".

He's pretty tall, so they probably measure bigger than they look. That being said, they really didn't look anywhere close to 24". Couple that with the fact that wrestler's stats are usually inflated, and you can be pretty sure they weren't as big as he claimed.

I don't doubt he had the biggest arms, but they were all synthol. Have you seen him lately? He had to get one of them "drained" by a doctor so he has one arm that's like 17 and one thats 27. Just disgusting...

i thought about this and googled

i didn't see hogan vs. andre, but they were both on the card

    here's the show i saw:

April 4th 1985 At The Capital Center In Landover Maryland:
    Don Muraco defeated S.D. Jones
King Kong Bundy defeated Tony Garea
Andre the Giant defeated Big John Studd & Bobby "the Brain" Heenan in a Handicap Match
    Ricky Steamboat defeated Moondog Spot
The British Bulldogs defeated Charlie Fulton & Rene Goulet
The Junkyard Dog & Tito Santana defeated Greg Valentine & Paul Orndorff
Hulk Hogan defeated Brutus Beefcake to retain the WWF Championship

now that was when wrestling was good

I was about to say the exact same thing. Damn kids these days.

"April 4th 1985 At The Capital Center In Landover Maryland"

That's the same place and approximately the same time as when I saw Hulk live!

Damn, every Saturday morning was for WWF. And the cartoon too. Rowdy Roddy Piper has a cool car.

My wife used to work in the dermatology office and he used to come in every other week, i wouldn't say 24 maybe like 20. I have met him a couple times in the last like 2 yrs, he is a big dude and he is definetly lean or leaner than his wreslting days.

I don't know guys, when he tried to make his "comeback" he flexed while pointing and they looked huge. His biceps are really big but also quite thin from my point of view.

in his prime at 6'7", im pretty sure they had the possiblity to be....whehter or not they were is anothe story, what you really needa do is look at pics with him nex to smaller guys, cuz he was a massive man, so his arms may ahve not looked as big compared to his body, but they still may have been....i remember i few years back when watching the strong man comps some guy competeing on ther had like 24" arms, and they were massive, anyone esle remember that?

also there was this one dude i read an article about and saw him on Jay Leno, i forget his nam but i think his were like 27 or so, and disgusting as hell

yea that valentino guy is the dude....eww just grow

i dont think Hogan was EVER 6'7"

anyways, I believe if they werent 24, they were damned close. Lean arms will always have the appearance of a bigger arm, and Hogan was never lean like a pro bodybuilder.

At my biggest my arms were 19.5", which at the same time I attended a wrestling show to compare(had 3rd row seats), and I was still dwarfed by most guys. But I also had a higher BF% which never helps a close comparison.

Hogan always had the gehyest moves. The leg drop. Lame. But he was one big Mofo. Wouldn't doubt if he did have 24 inch pythons at one time.
