The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

"Saw tries to be like the movie se7en but its more of a two"- Local Film critic.

The movie premiered early here during the Austin Film Festival. Turns out by the end of the movie people were laughing. I don't take that as a good sign. I hope it is amazing but too many signs are pointeing toward cliche NIN video rip off

Anyone see it last night? I've heard mixed reviews, nothing specific really other than "amazing" or "horrible". I don't know why it's being compared to Seven (as I haven't seen "Saw"), but I can't really see the logic behind the comparison. Seven had an all-star cast, with 4 "A-list" actors at the time, had a relatively big budget and in my opinion is more of a suspense/thriller than a horror movie. From what I know about "Saw" I'd be more interested in a comparison to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as that seems to be more on par with the type of movie "Saw" would be.

As a related aside, the movie looks scary as hell, but lately I've been infuriated with movie trailers so I put next to no stock in them anymore. Pretty much every other movie I go to now turns out differently than the trailer portrays it (ie. Wicker Park was far more romance than msytery, although I expected that to a large degree I'd say the teasers/trailers were pretty misleading if you hadn't known anything about the movie before them). It really irks me that a lot of production companies are going out of their way to put out misleading promotional material to entice more people to go and not to "scare away" potential viewers because of genre classifications. I get the same feeling from that as I do when I go and watch a comedy and they've ruined the punchlines to all the major jokes in the 50 different trailers/teasers/promos/etc they've released for the film.
