The pitching was just incredable on both sides throughout the series and it couldn't have ended any better! Bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, and 2 outs. To be the best, you have to beat the best and that was the Yanks so this is sweeeeeeeet!!!!!!

I'm really glad that Phoenix one, they remind me of the utah jazz playing the chicago bulls a few years back. I don't follow baseball closely but the yankees seem really cocky and its about time they were humbled. I bet its really sweet for that team, being it their 4th year in existence, plus the first time for the city of Phoenix.

He if he close the ninth with el duke, I could go to yankees day parade, but nooooo. Jesus, seemed like an easy call from my perspective. Also, I could be bragging in all your faces about how awesome the yankees are. but noooo. O well, joe torre doesn't usually make mistakes.

LOL Rivera is almost unhittable, he's the best closer in baseball history, and Hernandez pitches home run derby to the other team....You're right, it was an easy call....if hitters did that to Rivera, imagine what would've happened to a lesser closer...

"Test all things; hold fast what is good.": 1 Thessalonians 5:21

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

We still would have him if Lou and the owners weren't focking dumbasses. He was with Seattle for what, 10-11 years...then they give him up just like that...oh well.
