Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    whats 2:1?
At the college I went to I'd say 20-30% of the males lifted weights or did some sport regularly

    its not a big accomplishment

Uh, I got bad news for you, from someone who recently graduated-
I never had more time for lifting weights than I did in college. I had so few responsibilities and so much free time.
Now- Lifting while working 40+ hours a week and trying to get into grad school... that's hard.
Which is why I quit working.

I double majored in Bio Sci and Computer Engineering and lifted. Not much of an accomplishment...it's just 1 hour out of my day to hit the university rec center.

Yea, i dunno im not particulary proud of myself for being able to lift and go to school. It doesn't seem to crazy.
Maybe if I had like 4 majors I'd be more proud of myself.

Then go to grad school. You can string it out until you're 30 or so.

Nor do most people. It's just it gets tougher to find time when you're working 12 hours/day, as opposed to going to class for 3.

I am the kind of person, that if I worked 12 hours a day, I would go to the gym at midnight.

It's not not odd for me to leave home at 7am and get home at 9 or 10pm.

    If there's a will, there's a way

Problem is with that, you end up with no time to sleep, and when you're lifting weights you need sleep. I get up at 5am for work, and don't get home till 8pm, which leaves 9 hours, not really enough for a workout and a decent night's sleep, not to mention time for preparing meals, cleaning, laundry etc.

Whoever invented 12 hour shifts must have been on crack.
