    Protein shake with ice cream?

    Do you guys ever put ice cream in your protein shakes? Ive got some ff Carmel Praline Frozen Yogurt that i think would go well with my zero carb vanilla isopure shake. I split the 2 scoops before and after my workout, maybe i could use the sugars post workout?

    Depends on how much sugar you are talking about.

    Plain dextrose is good for the insulin spike post workout when you are taking creatine, but just the word caramel in the ice cream screams of too much sugar.
    Second place is the first loser.

    16 grams per half cup, 100 cals, I'd prob use half that.

    Frozen yogurt != ice cream.

    If you're gonna bulk, do it right: NON-low-fat cookies & cream ice cream + chocolate or vanilla whey + milk. Blended until smooth.

    Throw some nesquik in there, a tbsp (hell don't measure) of natty PB and a banana. That's what I do while bulking except I usually eat vanilla/chocolate fudge swirl icecream instead of cookies and cream.
