Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I would stay away from carbs at night especially past 8pm. Stick to cottage cheese.

If it fits into your diet with respect to carbs and calories then you're fine. I doubt they'll make any significant difference on you at night if you have to eat them then. Personal preference however, I'd rather eat my carbs in the day if I'm on a low carb diet so you can actually feel the benefit of them when you're awake rather than "wasting" them while you're asleep. If it is only a low cal diet than by all means eat them whenever you want.
