    Because you can't train your entire body every time you're in the gym (for the most part) and expect to get positive affects.

    to give time to grow to a given bodypart and focus on specifics bodyparts each session

    I'm sure some people can train their whole body in one session and gain....but who has the time? For me, that would take at least 4 straight hours (including nap and snacktime)
