The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Being a model..

Does anyone know what kind of training a model does on a daily basis? I am reffering to a male model!

Just being very curious how are they able to devolop their body and not getting big or bulky?

I know that most of you guys are in a heavy BB but could you happen to know what kind of training a model would do?

so you want to be a model? admit!

they do easy weight training, take normal BB and do it a bit more gayish and there you go.

    Not necessarily.

Ronan is a model - you got the gayish part right, but easy weight training?...

    LOL.

Most male models aren't all that big, they just have definition from low bodyfat. They probably do cutting phases to prepare for photo shoots and the rest of the year are just like all of us.

And don't forget that 95% of a model's "look" is good genetics...they just tweak and perfect what is already there...

You would prolly have to shave your legs and arms and wear gloves when you train with the fitness dumbells.

Oh wait, most of these homos do that anyway. *looks at Beercan* hehe

I seem to remember reading a men's health article on their cover boys and once they have achieved the size they want, they exercise with weights that allow them to do 25-30 reps three times a week on each bodypart.

Lift heavy, hard, train like everybody else, but focus on symmetry. Don't eat too huge, stay lean, don't worry about poundages (of weight you're pushing), chill out on the trap work (They don't like that; this also makes deadlifts a no-no if you've already got large traps)...

Not everybody has the same goals here, people. basically, your diet will make the difference. We've already established that muscles either grow or they don't. But for a model who wants to sculpt and optimize what he's got without adding much mass, focusing your lifting becomes more important. You may have to *gasp* use more isolation movements. You'll also be forced to experience lack of progression.

go to http://www.athleticphoto.com and keep clicking the link for 'random image' or something like that to the left og the screen under the camera.

They, albeit looking like fags, are models. I think you'll agree that some must have worked pretty damn hard.

You guys are sounding like catty women..."Oh he's a good-looking guy who models...he must be gay."

And in another thread Bam Bam is complaining about his partner not waiting for him to "finish"....
