I am a little distraught by all the young ones here begining to lift, take supplements this early. I am seeing kids 12-15 in the gym and reading this forum. Not that its entirely bad idea, but has anyone done any real research to what age children should begin lifting?

Some of you young ones are getting depressed about chest size and muscle gains. However, right now your body is growing in every direction, and you probably wont hit your real growth spurt until mid twenties.

Can someone post some info here about age and weight lifting?

PS - young kids, I am not saying dont lift, but I think it has negative effects on your overall growth.
